1 2 3 Shakespeare once said that there is humor in every tragedy. The death of comedian Bernie Mac is a reflection of this sentiment.  Bernie Mac lost his battle with pneumonia at the age of 50.  Gone is the man who burst on the national scene as the highlight of HBO’s Def Comedy Jam with his bold statement, “I ain’t scared of you mother&%$#@)s!”  He surmised that if he pulled out his member, the whole room would go black.  It feels as if the room has gone black with the loss of a gifted and talented comedian.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton brought down the house last night at the Democratic National Convention. Radiant in orange, she looked fantastic, poised and articulate. Quite frankly, she looked and sounded like a President.  Senator Clinton did what no other speaker had done before her – she dropped the hatchet on the Republican administration and called for the party to unite with her candidate for President, Senator Barack Obama.   Read more... 8/27/2008
