Brad Gebert - Vice President, Technology

Brad Gebert is the Vice President of Technology for Black Web Enterprises Inc. (BWE), IAC’s newly launched online destination for the Black community where he is responsible for the overall technical guidance of the business. Having built a career in the information technology field, Brad brings an impressive track record to BWE having run the technology group for GetSmart, an emerging business under the IAC/LendingTree umbrella. While at GetSmart, Brad assembled a team of developers and instituted a form of Agile software development, which decreased the time it took to get new functionality to market, as well as lowered the amount of defects that reached production. His common sense approach to software development eventually became the benchmark for LendingTree and its various divisions. Before Brad helped GetSmart reach new heights, he was cutting his teeth at LendingTree, GetSmart’s parent company, as a lead developer where he was responsible for heading development efforts for LendingTree’s lender relations platform.

Brad received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. While pursuing his degree, Brad wrote an automated scheduling database that significantly improved the school’s productivity.
